Jordan Fischetti has specialized in Immigration Law since he began practicing in 2014. He understands that those who seek counsel for immigration matters may feel overwhelmed by the entire process. Thus, he works hard to ensure that his clients understand his role as their counsel, their options for immigration relief, and the necessary steps to procure said relief.
Mr. Fischetti specializes in the defense of individuals in removal proceedings. He has represented a wide variety of clients in immigration court, including detainees, minors, and abused spouses. He has been successful procuring his clients relief from deportation in both Arlington and Baltimore Immigration Courts.
Mr. Fischetti has extensive experience adjusting individuals’ immigration status to lawful permanent resident through family petitions, including one-step adjustment applications and applications accompanied with waivers. He has also helped clients adjust status through self-petitions. Further, he has won custody cases in the Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, and Harrisonburg/Rockingham Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts.
Prior to joining Carluzzo Rochkind & Smith, P.C., Mr. Fischetti was an associate at the Law Office of Manuel Rivera, Esq. & Associates, P.C. in Arlington, Virginia. While he was still in law school, he interned at the Fairfax County Public Defender Office in Fairfax, Virginia.
Outside of the office, Mr. Fischetti regularly volunteers at immigration relief workshops, providing legal advice to those who are unsure whether they can pursue immigration relief and/or are unable to afford an attorney. He also volunteers at his alma mater, George Mason University School of Law (now the Antonin Scalia School of Law) as a judge for Moot Court competitions.
